Well, we’ve finally had a Maryland snow storm- which means it must be time for the spring holidays. If you are calling your relatives to see who will bring the ham and deviled eggs for Easter or cleaning frantically so you can host your family this Seder, Santoni’s has one thing to say… Let our family serve yours! We would be thrilled to be with you during these special holidays that are all about family and celebration. We have a specialized menu for each holiday and encourage everyone to come to our in-store tasting this weekend- Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm.
Our menu highlights the Traditional Passover Menu, serving 10 people for $165. It includes The Traditional Seder Plate, Charoset, Chicken Soup with Matzoh Balls, Boneless Chicken Breast with Matzoh Spinach Stuffing (yum), White or Redskin Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Asparagus, and Flourless Chocolate Tourte. You can also make your own meal off the menu with Entrees like Jewish Style Beef Brisket, Grilled Tenderloin with Peppercorn Sauce, Grilled Bourbon Glazed Salmon Filet, or Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms with Spinach & Ricotta Cheese. We have appetizers of Chopped Chicken Liver, Gefilte Fish, and Potato Latkes. You can order Creamed Spinach, Roasted Yam Wedges, and Cranberry Apple Orange Relish for your sides, and Almond Macaroons and Chocolate Covered Matzoh for Dessert.
On the Easter Menu we feature the Traditional Easter Dinner, also serving 10 for $139. Included in this dinner is 4-6 lb Boneless Baked Glazed Ham, Sliced, Tied, and Cooked (served with Grain Mustard, Honey Cranberry, or Spiced Pineapple Glaze.) For sides there are Redskin Mashed Potatoes or Macaroni & Cheese, Green Bean Almondine, Broccoli Salad, Red Skin Potato Salad, or Cole Slaw, and a small Deviled Egg Platter (also yum!) Dinner also comes with Dinner Rolls and a delicious Rainbow Cake.
If you want more or different, the Menu features Cheese, Veggie, and Fruit Platters, Cocktail Meatballs with Sauce, and Spinach and Dill Dip in a Marble Rye Bowl. Entrees include Turkey and Gravy, Pork Loin with Dried Fruit Glaze, and Baked Ziti. The Easter Side Dishes are sold by the pound and include Grilled Marinated Asparagus, Roasted Garden Vegetable Medley, and Herb Roasted Fingerling Potatoes. For dessert we are serving an Easter Egg Cake, or a large Bunny Shaped Cake, Coconut Cake, Cookies and Cupcakes.
All of this sound so fantastic, and remember if you want to try just come in to the Marketplace this weekend. We look forward to seeing and serving you!
